DUDH SUKTO


Doodh shukto

Ingredients :-

1.Raw banana -5 pieces[sliced].
2.Bitter gourd -4 pieces.[Diced].
3.Brinjal -4 pieces[Diced].
4.Pumpkin -4 pieces [Diced].
5.Pointed gourd -4 pieces.[Diced].
6.Potato -4 pieces.[Diced].
Foron:-
7.Bay leaf [1] + celery [1/4 tsp] + dried red chili [1].
8.Bari/wadi -5 pieces.
9.Salt -1 tsp.
10.Sugar -1 tsp.
11.Ginger paste -1 tsp.
12.Milk powder -1 tbsp.
13.Paste of poppy seeds -1 tbsp.
14.Celery paste -1/2 tbsp.
15.Oil -1 cup.
16.Water is required.

Method :-

 1.In a frying pan heat oil.

2.Fry raw ingredients separately.

 3.Fry bari/ dried lentil dumplings until it turns light brown in colour.

 4.Add some more oil.

 5.Fry bay leaf celery and dried red chili.

 6.Add ginger paste, lower the flame.

 7.Add all vegetables including in raw banana, potato, brinjal, pumpkin, pointed gourd.cook for 2 minutes.

8.Add water (1-2 cups).

9.Add salt.

10.Cover the pan.cook for 7 minutes on medium flame.

11.At the time prepare the milk with milk powder and warm water.

12.Remove the lid after 7 minutes.Add paste of poppy seeds. Add paste of celery. mix well.

13.Add sugar.

14.Add bari for 1 to 2 minutes.

15.Mix bitter gourd (crispy).

16.Lastly mix the milk.Cook for 1 minute.

17.Dudh sukto  is ready.Serve with plain rice.

7) Bay leaf +Celery+ Dried red  chili(রাধুনি+তেজপাতা+শুকনোলঙ্কা)
8) Bori-5 pieces.(বড়ি)
9) Salt-1 teaspoon.(লবন)

10) Suger-1 teaspoon.(চিনি)
11) Ginger Paste-1 pieces.(আদাবাটা)
12) Milk Powder-1 teaspoon.(গুঁড়োদুধ)
13) Poppy Seeds paste-1 teaspoon.(পোস্তবাটা)
14) Celery paste-1/2 teaspoon.(রাঁধুনি বাটা)
15) Oil-1cup.(তেল)
16) Water(জল)
