dimer curry bengali recipe / Egg curry simple recipe


Egg curry :-

Ingredients:-

1.Egg -2 pieces.
2.Potato -2 pieces sliced.
3.Onion chopped -1 big.
4.Tomato chopped -1 big.
5.Onion  paste -1 tbsp.
6.Ginger garlic paste -1 tbsp.
7.Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp.
8.Cumin powder -1 tsp.
9.Red chili powder 1/2 tsp.
10.Chat masala -1/2 tsp.
11.Sugar -1/2 tsp.
12.Cumin 1/4 tsp.
13.Dried red chili -1 piece.
14.Bay leaf -1 big.
15.Green cardamom 1-2 piece.
16.Garam masala powder -1/2 tsp.
17.oil -4-6 tbsp .
18.For garnishing- green chilies,Chopped coriander,cucumber.


Method:-


1.Boil egg and potato well.
2.Heat oil in a pan.
3.Fry eggs.[ keep aside].
4.Fry cumin,Bay leaves,Dried red chilli and green cardamom.
5.Fry chopped  onion on low flame for 2 minutes.
6.Add 1/4 tsp of sugar for colour.
7.Add green chillies and chopped tomato.Saute for 1 minute.
8.Add potato pieces fry for 3 -5 minutes on medium flame.
9.Add turmeric powder,salt,cumin powder,chat masala and mix well.
10.Add onion paste,ginger garlic paste.Cook for 5 minutes.
11.Add sugar mix well.
12.Add egg pieces.
13.Add water(1/2 cups).
14.Cook for 10 minutes
15.Add garam masala powder.
16.Switch off the flame.
17.Garnish with green chillies,chopped coriander and cucumber( optional ).
18.Serve with fried rice or roti.
