1) Wash & soak the basmati rice for 15-20 minutes. 2) cook with enough water & a few of oil & 1/2 tsp salt. 3) Fluff and cool the rice thoroughly by spreading on big plates. 4) Heat 2 tbsp of refined oil in a karai.fry the cashew and raisins.keep them aside. 5) Add 3-4 tbsp of refined oil .add bay leaves. 6) Add all the veggies & mix well & saute in high flame for 3-4 minutes.Add 1 tbsp of ghee.add ginger. 7) Then mix rice. 8) Adjust salt, add oil & ghee, if required. Add sugar and garam masala & raisins. 10) The rice is ready.
