KATLA FISHER KALIYA
INGREDIENTS:--
1) Katla Fish (কাতলা মাছ )– 9 pieces.
2) Turmeric (হলুদ) – 2 teaspoon .
3) Salt (লবণ) -2 teaspoon.
4) Spice Mixture (গরমমশলা) -1/2 teaspoon.
5) Bay Leaf (তেজপাতা) -1 piece.
6) Ginger Paste (আদাবাটা) -1 teaspoon.
7) Garlic Paste (রসুনবাটা) -1 teaspoon.
8) Chili Paste (লঙ্কাবাটা) -1/2 teaspoon.
9) Tomato paste (টমেটোবাটা) -2 tablespoon.
10) Yogurt (টক দই) -1 tablespoon.
11) Onion (পিঁয়াজ) -2 pieces.
12) Onion Paste (পিঁয়াজবাটা) -4 tablespoon.
13) Mustard Oil (সরষেরতেল) -1 cup.
14) Water (জল).
15) Cumin Powder (জিরেগুঁড়ো) -1 tablespoon.
Method:-
1.At first marinate the Katla pieces with 1/2 tsp of turmeric and 1/2 tsp of salt.
2.Heat one cup of mustard oil in a pan.
3.Fry the Katla pieces (both side) on medium flame keep aside.
4.In same oil add- 1/2 tsp of cumin dried red chili -1 and bay leaves -2.
5.Add chopped onion fry for 3 minutes.
6.Add garlic paste ,ginger paste ,Chili paste. mix well .Fry for 2 minute.
7.Add tomato puree fry for two minutes.
8.Add onion paste and fry for 5 minutes.
9.Add turmeric powder cumin powder salt mix well.
10.Add Yogurt. saute for 1 minute.
11.Add water cook for 5 minutes .
12.Add katla fish pieces.Cook 2-3 minutes.
13.Lastly add garam masala powder.
14.Serve with plain hot rice.
