Chicken Pulao / Chicken pulao recipe / How to make simple pulao






 

Chicken Pulao
Ingredients:-

1.Gobindo bhog rice 500 gm
2.Chicken -10 pieces
3.Onion(chopped)-1 large
4.Tomato ketchup-2 tbsp
5.Sugar-1/2 cup
6.Tomato-1 large
7.Split green chili-3 pieces
8.Red chili powder-1 tsp
9.Ghee-1 cup
10.Raisins-20 pieces
11.Cashew nuts-5-6 pieces
12.Salt as required
13.Turmeric powder-1 tbsp
14.Garam masala powder-1 tbsp
15.Bay leaf 2 pieces  Dry red chili 1 piece Green cardamom 2 pieces
16.Garlic paste-1 tsp
17.Onion paste-1 tsp
18.Ginger paste-1 tsp
19.Coriander powder- 1 tbsp

Method

 
1.Wash the rice & keep aside.

 


  
4.Cover the pan. Cook it in high flame for 2 minutes.

 

5.Then separate the chicken pieces & the stock.

 

6.Heat ghee / oil in a pan.Add green cardamom,bay leaves & dry red chili.

7.Fry chopped onion.Add tomato pieces.

 

8.Add garlic paste.Add onion paste.Add red chili powder.Add coriander powder.

 

9.Add boiled chicken pieces.Stir well.

 

10.Add ginger paste.

 

11.Add 1 tsp of salt.

 

12.Add turmeric powder.

 

13.Mix well.Cook it for 5-7 minutes with lid in medium heat.Add cashew nuts & raisins.

 

14.Mix rice. Stir for 2 minutes.

 

15.Add chicken stock.

16.Add salt 1 tsp.

 

17.Add split green chilies.

 

18.Cover the pan, cook the rice in low flame for 15 minutes...

 

19.After 15 minutes...Add sugar.

 

20.Add garam masala powder.

 

21.The rice is ready.

 

22.Cover it for 30 minutes.

 

23.Then serve the chicken pulao.
