  potol Posto recipe....

potol Posto is a traditional Bengali recipe.The dish is very simple but delicious.

Ingredients:-

1.Pointed gourd (potol) -10 pieces half longitudinally.
2.Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp.
3.Salt -1 tsp.
4.Sugar -1 tsp.
5.Paste of poppy seeds-4 tbsp.
6.Green chillies -2 pieces.
7.Mustard oil 6 tbsp.
8.Water as required. .... 


Method:-

1.Heat oil & fry pointed gourds .

2.Add turmeric powder on medium flame.[both side].

3.Add paste of green chilies and poppy seeds cook for 2 minutes.

4.Add water.

5.Add turmeric powder.

6.Add salt.

 7.Sugar for 7-8 minutes on medium flame.

8.At last add 1 tsp of mustard oil.

9.Potol Posto is ready. serve with hot plain rice.


    উপকরণ:------

1) পটল -  10 টা ।

2) হলুুদ- 1/2 চামচ ।

3) লবন - 1 চামচ ।

4) চিনি - 1 চামচ ।

5) পোস্ত বাটা।

6) কাঁচা লঙ্কা ।

7) সরষের তেল - 6 চামচ ।

8) জল ।
